Colamity and Cuteness

We had a tornado blow threw the night of May 13th. My Mother's Day flower weathered the storm and the kids were so happy. They sat and marveled over it for a while. You'll see why later.

Yet another picture for my wall.

The kids play house didn't weather the storm. The neighbor said she was outside when it happened. Why she was outside I can't say. None the less she said the wind picked it up and slammed it into the tree. The kids thought for sure my flower would be snapped off or just plain blown away after seeing their playhouse.

Tia saving Hunter (Brayden's playmate) from imminent paralysis. And I'm just standing there taking pictures.

Random Pictures

I haven't had lots of pictures on my blog thus far because I have had to develope them, then scan them in and then post them. I love my new digital camera! Maybe too much.

Easter

Easter was great. The kids ate candy most of the day (Every kids dream!). Grandma was here and we played games together. The kids enjoyed Quiddler. I can't spell so naturally I hated it. Ian just won the spelling bee for his 1st Grade class so he loved the game. I think Ian can spell better than me! I don't remember what we ate, but I do remember having a good time with family.

The Saturday before Easter the Strouds had an Easter egg hunt at their house. It was great fun for the kids. They also have a pond and a paddle boat that Jaymeson took the kids out on. I forgot the camera of course, but it was memorable.

Here are some of the flowers from our flower garden to the west of our house.

And here's the kids with their prized Easter baskets. Chris and I saw someone with furry ears leaving our house just as we were getting home from church and when the kids got upstairs there were baskets on the couch.

Botanical Gardens

We went to Botanical Gardens shortly before Isaac was born. The kids had a great time and Grandma Wright was visiting which made it even better.

They had fun places for pictures like this little cave.

This is Ellayna playing at the children park section of the gardens.

These next two are going on my wall at home.

Tia's Kindergarten Musical

Mrs. Harris is Tia's teacher and all the girls in her class got to be princesses. Tia loved it because Tatianna means princess. I love her expression in this picture. She is most definitely our diva.

Here is a little video Chris took during the performance. We love our princess!

Isaac Lamar

We had our baby April 15, 2009. Yes a tax baby but when you're 9 months pregnant you don't really care what day your baby is born. You just want your body back. Isaac Lamar Wright was 7 lbs. 9 oz. and 20 inches long. He is growing fast and at his one month well baby check-up he was 10 lbs. 1 oz. I'll post more pictures soon. We're hoping to get new family pictures and his baby pictures done soon.

This however is not what it pressing on my mind today. Yesterday Mel (Chris's father) called to tell us that he has Lymphoma. We don't know what kind yet. We had a family fast yesterday because he has been quite ill and has been in the hospital in Provo, UT. We prayed that the doctors would be able to come up with some kind of diagnosis. Normally it takes a week to get results but it was only a few days. We are thankful to Heavenly Father who sent us a speedy answer to our prayers.
